Encouraging Others...
Memorial Day Weekend 2015 we will be honoring service members who are no longer with us. Flags will be placed in the auditorium in their memory, with flags in honor of families who submitted names, placed on the lawn over the course of the weekend. Free booklets with those honored will be printed and made available. Special Worship Service on May 24 (10:30 AM) will recognize all those whose information has been submitted, feature patriotic songs and a reminder to value those that give their lives for the sake of others.
The community is invited to share their family members information with us, so they can be remembered as well. Please submit: Name of Service Member, branch of service, time of service; along with personal contact information so that flags and booklet can be presented to you following the weekend.

Family, Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers--
Invitations to be encouraged and challenged to develop lasting
relationships, learn God's will and help make an impact in our
community are being given and responded to.
Prayers are being offered on their behalf for: physical and emotional
healing, and help as needed.
Welcome reception is being extended to those that come and join us.
We visit with them so we can get to know them better, help them feel
comfortable and enjoy them coming back and sharing with us again.

Our Shut ins were reminded that they are God's Sweethearts. Our youth made dozens of valentines that were then delivered to our shut ins (along with a gift bag, sheet with pictures of the youth and small box of candy). The youth enjoyed making them. The shut in appreciated receiving them. All (youth and adults) were blessed!
Youth & our Community-- Entire congregation invited family and friends to join us for the Children's Christmas program. More than 60 were in attendance with nearly every family having at least one visitor join them!
