Lowell Mason-- Precious Moments

Lowell Mason became good friends with Sam Butcher, creator of the Jonathan and David (later known as "Precious Moments") figures.  He would have concerts at their chapel in Carthage, Missouri. He worked there (even posing as the 'original' "Little Timmy" for the visitors).  

" My original costume when I was singing at Precious Moments was just like this one.  I was the original "little Timmy"."

Lowell could be found there at the Precious Moments Park  from around 1992 up until 2008.  During this time, Lowell would perform over 1,500 Gospel music concerts at their World Headquarters.

Sam's daughter, Deb, volunteered to design the Precious Moments mural to be used at the Lowell Mason Prayer Walk Park.
