Lowell Mason- Pine Run Connection
Lowell Mason grew up in the Pine Run Community as his dad served as preacher at the Pine Run Church of Christ, besides running a local cleaners.
Lowell Returns |
Through the years, Lowell Mason would return to Pine Run Church of Christ to lead songs for Revivals, hold concerts, and speak/sing at Anniversary celebrations. Charlene Anderson, from Pine Run accompanied Lowell on one of his mission trips to Russia (her uncle had been one of Lowell's friends growing up.
In 2016 Lowell had helped provide Bottled Water, that the Pine Run Church distributed by the case load to a 3 block area of Flint for 3 months. The State of Michigan then had set up a distribution center at the corner of those neighborhoods at a Fire Station; and our help was no longer required for those residents. in 2018, the Pine Run Church of Christ would head into a "food for the needy" program Over the next 3 years, we coordinated monthly food distributions with area churches and the South Eastern Michigan Food Bank. We finished in 2022 as God had blessed and the demand had decreased to the point where this program was not necessary. |
Pine Run Supportive |
Pine Run Church of Christ has supported Lowell and his mission work through the years and that continues to this day. They also provided additional support to Lowell's parents in the latter years of their life as well.

Devotions Started |
Lowell Mason had a daily post on Facebook called, "Thought for the Day". This included Scripture and devotional messages. He reached a point where he could no longer continue.
Pine Run was inspired by this and began their own daily posting, based on the "Daily Bible Reading" program that we use. Today, that post is sent out to over 100 Christian servants in 28 countries, besides postings on Facebook and other social media sites. |
Kingdom Impact
Lowell Mason will be remembered in: "The Encyclopedia of the Stone-Campbell Movement".
